This glorious stretch of beaches known as the Outer Banks has become a popular destination wedding location, for obvious reasons.  The unique natural beauty of the Outer Banks makes it an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding any time of year.  This is the 11th year the OBX Wedding Expo has been held, so you can rest assured that the folks know what they are doing.  Many festivities are happening during the Expo going on this weekend:

Saturday, Jan 10 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Self-Guided Tour of Businesses & Reception Sites
Saturday, Jan 10 - 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. - Meet & Greet Reception at Duck Woods Country Club
Sunday, Jan 11 - 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - The Expo Event at First Flight High School (KDH)

Tickets for the full weekend (including admittance to all three events) are $20 per person.  Tickets to only the Expo held on Sunday are $10 per person.  Registration will be held at the Comfort Inn South, The Pearl Restaurant and Argyle's Restaurant on Friday, January 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Other expo events include a fashion show, door prizes and the grand prize is the “wedding of your dreams” give-a-way.
