An Elizabethan Gardens Summer Wedding

When my husband and I began planning our wedding we knew immediately that we wanted to have our magical day in “The Gardens” - The Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo on Roanoke Island. Each season brings an array of flowering plants, shrubs and trees. We believe it is one of the loveliest places on the Outer Banks. It truly is a haven of beauty and tranquility. With its magnificent vegetation and classic sculptures there is no need for flowers and decorations. All you need is music and a bouquet for the bride and her attendants. You and everyone involved will surely have a treasured experience.
Remember to consider that Mother Nature may not cooperate on your special day. The Gardens does have a reception hall that can hold a small ceremony of 100 people. If you plan to have more than 100 people you really need to have a back-up plan.
Best wishes!Photos by Scott Gutierrez and Joseph Jorge
