We've all heard of the 'Trash the Dress' concept, but does anyone really know a bride that's done it?  The ocean this past weekend on the Outer Banks was so inviting and warm - for early June anyway - it got me wondering if any OBX brides did any wild and crazy dress trashing this past Saturday or Sunday. 

Even if the majority of us would wimp out on the idea and opt for the special cleaning and sealing routine to save our dress for our daughters one day, it's super-fun to imagine how you'd trash the dress, isn't it?  I wonder if any local photographers offer a 'Trash the Dress' session like this one I stumbled across on line does?  What a beautiful look and feel to the images.  I love it!  I mean come on ... you've made the life-long commitment to your groom, right? ... and what are the chances your daughter will really want to wear your out-of-style dress in 30 years? ... so you don't need to keep that dress - trash it and have fun doing it!  Check out lots of brave brides who've trashed their dresses and shared their experiences with the world at trashthedress.wordpress.com.  Lots of fun stories and photos to peruse from around the world.
