Okay, silly play on words here but some may not know the reference ... While spa-going brides enjoy pampering and primping sessions before the big day, grooms can plan their own “make-up” day of fun – fishing style, that is. 

Say only a couple of you want to fish but a charter typically books in groups of six.  No problem.  Most Outer Banks marinas will put together individuals to make a full party for a 1/2, 3/4 or full-day charter.  Going the make-up route is certainly easier on the wedding budget and there are lots of options – inshore, offshore, sound or customized trips – for virtually any time of year.  Here are some links to area fishing centers for more information:
