On Sunday, I was fortunate enough to be able to represent Village Realty at the Outer Banks Wedding Expo.  I had the opportunity to speak to lots of brides and their “intendeds” as well as friends and family of the bride. 

The Expo was an incredible presentation of the various vendors that are available here on the Outer Banks to assist in planning a fabulous destination wedding.  There were wedding planners who will do all the foot work in getting the event off the ground.  There were caterers with samples of their food.  There were photographers displaying their work, and florists showing their arrangements.
There were spas showcasing their offerings (I even got a complimentary Chair Massage!!).  Also, musicians, DJ’s , hairstylists, wedding gown shops, and officiants were there.  And of course rentals companies such as Village Realty were there offering vacation homes for rehearsal dinners, weddings and ceremonies, as well as accommodations for family and friends. 

The Village Realty booth was in the High School gymnasium along with probably 70 other vendors.  Halfway through the day I realized that there were about 50 more vendors in the cafeteria.  Then, a shuttle took the brides to the Middle School where there were even more vendors.  It really made me want to get married again and have a destination wedding in the Outer Banks!!
